The first (human) session of the year fell to Marissa who came in with Hubby to capture their first maternity with portraits. This was a great session and mom and dad did great! We are currently on a daily watch for baby Lundin to appear as mom awaits impatiently. Maybe this blog will help the baby gods push Lundin a bit so stay tuned for newborn session very soon!

Yes we do pet photography! One of the first sessions of the new year was and Andrew brought in all their kids well we did break it down into 2 sessions to make it easier. For those that think shooting newborns is difficult try shooting a pair of skittish cats! Session went great and even got some of the cats together. Well we are about to top of 2010 with what was our final session of the year, baby Thomas. In the maternity session we did a lot with mom and dads off road gear and I half kidding mentioned they should bring in a ATV wheel (since we couldn’t fit the whole thing through the front door). Well dad showed up with one and Thomas took to it well with out waking. Enjoy the photos, 25+ comments and mom and dad get a free 5×7!

Welcome Deanna who cam in last month for her maternity session with her first child. Bringing mom and sister along as dad is currently deployed, we had lots of fun creating her portraits. Baby is due any day now and hoping dad gets to come home for the birth and be involved in the newborn session. Enjoy the photos, comments appreciated!

Just wanted to touch base with everyone. One of my goals for the new year is to improve marketing and organizing the studio business wise. In one of those efforts I will be launching targeted websites for the different styles of photography that I offer. The first such site for maternity through baby’s first year is nearly complete and you can view it now! I have transferred all relevant blog entries over and soon this site will be for all your bumps and baby photography needs.

Next up on our blog is the touchdown baby I say that with affection as every time I tried posing Sophia’s arm she would revert back to signaling for a touch down. It was quite cute. A year or so ago I had the pleasure of taking portraits of Oliva at two years. Since then mom not only moved up north but gave Olivia a little sister. Lucky they came back down for a little vacation and stopped in for another portrait session for the two of them.
